We've sourced these little stunners from Portugal, where Viarco has been making these quality pencils using unchanged traditional methods and tools since 1907.
This gorgeous packaging is a faithfully vintage recreation of the packaging used between 1940 and 1960.
The Viarco Vintage 272D Copying Pencil is a faithful recreation of a traditional copying pencil. Copying pencils were popular in WWI and were used to quickly make copies of documents. The purple dye in the pencil core makes it possible to transfer writing onto a thin, damp piece of paper.
These pencils draw up as the perfect thoughtful and considered creative gift, with 12 in the box, cores of violet copying pencils at the dimensions of 7″ x 0.5″ x 0.5″.
