Based in rural Leicestershire, Imogen Owen started her stationery brand in 2013. Launching at Top Drawer in London, she immediately picked up a number of high profile stockists and has continued this success. Imogen designs and illustrates her range of greetings cards and stationery which are printed in her studio on her 1940's Autovic letterpresses. With a passion for print, an eye for detail and her unique illustration style Imogen's ranges have become more and more popular. Key to the brand is the fact that products are made in Britain, using traditional skills and quality craftsmanship. 

After studying copperplate and working on her own calligraphy, Imogen has developed a unique modern calligraphy style and demand for her work has grown. She started teaching the UK's first Modern Calligraphy workshops back in the beginning of 2014 as there were no opportunities to learn modern calligraphy in the UK, since then she has passed on her knowledge and skills to thousands of people, through teaching workshops in modern calligraphy in London and across the UK, as well as via her online course. April 2017 saw the publication of her first book 'Modern Calligraphy Workshop' published by Quadrille/Chronicle, with a second book 'Modern Calligraphy: The Workbook in 2021 published by Quadrille/Hardie Grant and available in all good bookshops across the globe. Her calligraphy teaching has been widely featured including on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, The Evening Standard, The Telegraph, she has taught courses for numerous clients from Chanel to Fortnum & Mason and worked with high profile clients from Selfridges to Sony.  

Imogen's stationery and other products are stocked across the world, including stores such as Oliver Bonas, Anthropologie, Fortnum & Mason, Liberty, Merci, and many more including her very own store and café 'The Great' located near her studio in the charming village of Great Easton, Leicestershire.
